Thomas Paine Quote

Freedom hath been hunted round the globe. Asia and Africa have long expelled her. Europe regards her like a stranger, and England hath given her warning to depart. O! receive the fugitive and prepare in time an asylum for mankind.

Freedom Egyptian Style
How refreshing to see people all over the world rise up in protest of government taking away their freedoms. I read this article recently about the Egyptians rising up in protest at what their Islamic President with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood was trying to do to them, making himself a dictator basically. It is so refreshing to see people rise up and tell government "Enough". The article is posted here http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/12/04/egypt-increases-security-ahead-opposition-march/. In essence, people like Mursi and other big government lovers the world over believe that they, not the individual, no best how to control and guide their lives. History is full of leaders like this, from Mao, Stalin, Hitler, the US federal government with its presidents since Roosevelt, many European governments, to North Korea's brutal little dictator. In the end, the only legitimate and moral form of government is one that interferes the least in the choice. In reality, any form of interference in one's personal life by another to me is immoral, but it is necessary to set some form of limitations on us human beings because of our very nature towards evil. But the government that limits the least or sets up only rules that protect the basic rights of a human being is the government is the most moral. Basic rights would seem to be things like the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness or in essense the right to succeed or fail with whatever skills, talents, and abilities a person came into this life with.

My heart jumps for joy when I see my Egyptian brothers of a different religion protest and rampage for freedom and for their rights. It is their God-given right to defend their individual rights. I salute you my Egyptian brothers and sisters. Keep rampaging until the Muslim Brotherhood leaves.
